By the Pond

It was a quiet evening by the pond when I painted this oil painting.  The birds were chirping and you could hear the occasional bullfrog.  In this video you can watch as I create my plein air painting titled By the Pond.

It had been a while since I had picked up my paintbrushes and paint, so I was a bit rusty.  I had also just built my custom paint box or pochade box, and was trying it out for the first time.  

I feel that overall the process went well.
